Question: Why spend the money for a motherboard that can take 3 graphic cards, if you are only going to use one? You can save around $80 if you just go for a single PCI-16 slot board.

Question 2:Why spend the extra money on the shiny looking corsair memory sticks, if you can get the same performance or maybe 1% less from a set of two regular 8GB sticks that go for aroun $40-50?

Question 3: Why a 970 GTX? The 960 is $100 cheaper and will still give you great performance. Or the R9 380, same price range. I'm running a GTX780 TI with an i5-4690K processor on a $65 Asus motherboard with two 4Gb-1600 memory strips.
I'm running Arma 3 with that setup on 55-60fps on high settings. Even Dayz runs in fps terror areas like Novo on 45-50fps.In Electro 60+fps is no problem, with settings on high. A game you know aswell, Warthunder, is running with settings on movie, and then even push the sliders in settings more up on a stable 80fps....

I build my computer, with case, powersupply,240Gb SSD and all above for under $600.
So do you need all of the stuff you put in this post?

Spending $1000 or more on this moment on a DDR-3 system is not realy done IMO.
Better wait one more year, untill DDR4 is more common, then spend $1200. Or build a cheaper DDR3 system now, for around $500 to $700 and use that for the next two to three years.
