After a couple of weeks of dry fitting and design changes, I spent the day gluing up the three pvc sections of the cockpit. Now its off to the paint shop over the next 2 days, and then final assembly begins.

First of all, Happy New Year to all of you!
If any of you guys are interested in online racing, check out Race 07 on Steam. Because it's a bit older, don't expect amazing graphics, but still decent. But the game as a simulator is still great. Race 07 alone is only €1,49, so around $1.60 in Dollars I think. Gives a good amount of different cars, from a 200HP Mini up to 600HP strong GT1 cars and even 850HP open single seater cars. You can run a dedicaded server, password it and create a custom race for a group. Cutom setup for damage, flagrules, use of clutch etc etc. Very good setup menu for your wheel, analog input, force feedback very good ajustable.

But buying the complete bundle available on Steam untill the 4th of januar gives a lot more racing classes. Full bundle gives you acces to Race 07, and 10 add-on games that will be placed in the same folder as Race 07. Also in this bundle is GT-Legends, GTR, GTR-2, Race:The WTCC game and one addon for the last one called Caterham Expansion.
On sale now for €14,97.

If you get the bundle, first download and install Race 07 and after that any of the expansion packs you wish. They all get installed in the Race 07 map. Order of download and install not important.
In the bundle you'll get also a few older Simbin games which are still considerd as being some of the best racing sim games on handling, set up and the option to use a lot of 3rd party mods, most of them also usable in online games if everybody uses the same mod.

Check it out, if any of you guys get it, I'll be back in a few weeks. See you then!

I haven't been doing much recently, but plan on doing more of it when this project is completed. Still have Nascar 13 and 14. Bought Dirt Rally recently which I enjoy and will be playing more of. Also going to look into some online racing.

Just bought the new Thrustmaster Warthog joystick and thruster setup so am going to do some more Microsoft Flight simulator as well as check out the DCS A-10 game as well.

Had a bit of a setback during the gluing process that forced a few more changes. Finally have the mainframe put together and the rest should go fairly quickly.

The screens are not in their final position yet as I had to order more cables and still have some hooking up to do. Hence the ......"almost complete".

When you're all done, are you gonna hire someone that actually can drive?

It looks a lot better in person, but at least gives you an idea of the triple monitor setup in Nascar 14.

You could try. It's not that hard.
